BeavrWiki was created to provide a resource for students on the journey through Oregon State University.

History
On the weekend of January 6th, 2007, Leaders of Positive Innovation (LPI) decided that BeavrWiki would be a good experiment. Motivated by helping along the First Year Experience, BeavrWiki was aimed at providing information that might otherwise be difficult to come up with (such as Places to Eat).
