OSU Daycare Facilities
OSU understands the importance of professional childcare services and thus has two operating childcare facilities available and other related information.
OSU Kindercare
- Location: 102 Child Care Center, Corvallis, OR 97331
At 11th and Adams.
- Accommodations: This facility is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6pm. It accepts infants through preschool. Also, it has a private Kindergarten and 148 full-time slots.
- Pricing: Registration is $100 and $150 for a family. Pricing varies according to age, number of children in their center, if child is potty trained, and weather or not the child is there full or half time. There is also a drop in service. They have a special discount for students at OSU. And also, you can apply for the OSU's subsidy every term. But make sure about the deadlines of application. Kindercare staff does a great job on keeping parents posted.
- Teachers: The ratio of teacher to student in Toddler room (2-3 yrs old) is 1 to 4. They have a lot of temparary teachers because they hire a lot of interns from the students at OSU Early Childhood Development Department. Older classroom would have less teachers. Some of these young teachers are very nice and talented.

Growing Oaks Child Development Center
- Location: 3731 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97331
- Accommodations: This facility is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. It accepts infants of six weeks through Kindergaten. This center has 52 full time slots available.
- Pricing: Pricing varies call or visit for pricing options.
This is an NAEYC accredited full-day facility managed by Corvallis Community Children's Centers. It also caters to OSU staff, faculty, and of course children of OSU students. For more information or to schedule a visit call (541)737-7745.
OSU Child Development Center
This is an excellent preschool program that has been in place since 1926. This is also an NAEYC accredited facility and is certified by the Oregon Child Care Division. All instructors have a BS/MS as well as 4-7 university student teachers.
- Location: 130 Bates Hall, Corvallis, OR 97331
- Accommodations: This facility is open year round in sessions (morning, afternoon, summer).
- Pricing: Prices range from $325 for the summer session up to $1920 a year.

Corvallis Indoor Parks
CIP is a nonprofit organization which provides indoor unstructured play areas for infants through kindergartenage children under the supervision of their parents. CIP has existed since 1978, and now offers two sites for varying ages.
Tunison Avenue Site
This site is meant for infants, new parents who want to meet other parents and children who prefer a smaller, quieter environment.

Tunison Fire Station Community room, October – May
Monday – Friday – 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
Focus: Newborns through 3 year olds
Cost: $40.00/year – family, $55.00/year – child care providers
Circle Boulevard Site
This site is the place for familes with active toddlers or preschoolers and the next step up from Tunison members.

Corvallis Boys' and Girls' Club
Sept. - June
Monday - Friday - 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Focus: 18 months through 5 years old
Cost: $60.00/year – family, $50.00/term – child care providers
Each park is operated by its co-op membership, who sign up during Orientation for specific jobs and responsibilities. Visitors are Welcome!!
Some Childcare Funding Options
The following is information regarding childcare funding aid from OSU and the government.
- Childcare Subsidy: The Associated Students of OSU began a limited subsidy program for the children of OSU students. Everyone is free to apply. Applications may be found at the Student Involvement Office or any OSU childcare center. Subsidy money can be used at any child care facility.
- Campus Financial Aid: There are also awards for parents from the OSU Finacial Aid office based on need. This type of aid is disbursed in a variety of ways. To see if you qualify submit an application at the OSU Financial Aid Office.
- Grants: Linn & Benton counties family connections offer a grant for childcare use. However there is a waiting list for more information visit oregon.gov.
