About Us

The Oregon State University College Republicans is a groups of conservative minded individuals who are working to make a change in the current political landscape at our campus. We are tired and frustrated with the status quo liberalism that we are surrounded with every day. The liberal media, our liberal professors, and our liberal message on our campus is strong, and it must be confronted. Conservative values should have equal weight on our campus, but the reality is much different. We are tired of the liberal bias at Oregon State University, and as College Republicans and fellow Conservatives, we are working hard to foster a campus where conservatism and liveralism can coexist equally in an unbiased encironment. We are trying to change our campus for the better!

Get Involved

To get involved with the College Republicans doesn't take much time at all! Throughout the year, we often have tables in the Quad. These tables are used for recruitment, but occasonally we will use these tables for spreading the word about a particular topic, such as the 2nd Amendment or the dire state of Social Security! Anyone is welcome to help at these tables, to spread the truth about thse issues where often time, liberal lies ar the only source of information. Another way to get involved is by coming to our weekly meetiongs. This term, meetings are held on Mondays at 7pm in the Memorial Union Room 208. Again, anyone is welcome to come to these meetings, and attendance is highly encouraged

Weekly Meetings

Our weekly meetings are currently on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Memorial Union Board Room. Everyone is welcome to attend, and no prior involvement is necessary.

Meetings are typically around 30 minutes of official business, followed by 20 minutes of debate about a previously decided topic.

Most meetings are over by 8 or 8:15pm. If we have any special guest speakers, however, then meetings typically wrap up closer to 9:00pm
