Korean Student Association
From BeavrWiki
Greetings!
The Korean Student Association (KSA) of Oregon State University KSA@OSU was founded in September of 1971 to meet the needs of the Korean students in OSU. With the help and support of former KSA presidents, advisors, and the Korean community, KSA@OSU has grown. Oregon State University is located in a quaint town called Corvallis which is in Oregon, the second state in the Pacific Northwest. Oregon State showed its full potential when at 1954 Linus Carl Pauling won a Nobel Prize in Chemistry and has been leading the world in Agriculture, Forestry, Life Science, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. It is also planning on being in the top 25 for engineering. Being proud as Koreans amongst fellow students, KSA@OSU would like to be the mediator of introducing our proud 5000 year history to others, to keep in good contact with the alumni, enhance mutual friendship between the students and the community and be of help to students through studies and research.
