History

Leaders of Positive Innovation is a group of motivated students geared towards making positive changes on campus and around the community. Formed by Donald Johnson (MU Asst Dir-Program & Market) in the 2002-2003 school year, the group has accomplished a lot since its creation. For example, the Dormitory Roomate Matching Network provides students with the opportunity to fill out a survey that allows UHDS to determine which students will be most compatible with them. From 2004 to 2006, the students focused on Teacher Evaluations, which do not provide sufficient feedback to neither students or teachers. Leaders of Positive Innovation and several faculty members came up with a new proposal (including an online evaluation system) that is currently being discussed by the Faculty Senate and the Executive Committee. This year (2006-2007), the group is focused on developing and expanding the beavrwiki website.
