Memorial Union

The building for student activities whose motto is, "Needs for the day, spirit for the Soul." The OSU bookstore is attached to the Memorial Union on her east side, and has been a part of the MU since the winter of 1929 . Home of the Memorial Union Commons and The Memorial Union Programs Council the MU has always been a bastion for student interests, namely, clubs and organizations.

Memorial Union Programs Council is a student organization that provides various events and activities throughout the year and is located in MU 103. Some of these events are: Dad's Weekend, Children's Holiday Party, Mom's Weekend, Snow in the Quad, Battle of the Bands, and Roots, Rock, and Reggae.
