Kevin Thornberg - Experience Letter

Next to College, becoming a franchise manager for College Pro Painters has been the best decision I have ever made. The program has given me a thorough understanding of what it takes to succeed in the real world.

My first year at Oregon State University was great, but I found myself having a hard time relating the lessons from class to the real world. I found myself questioning what exactly is this education doing for me. After a year with College Pro Painters running my own business, all of the pieces came together. I found the classes began to make more sense. I became excited about certain lessons that pertained to my summer business, asking myself what I can apply to my job.

I am now going into my third year with the company. In this time, I have learned valuable lessons about the business, about life, and most importantly, about myself. I have grown and changed during this job. I have gained confidence, competency, and ability. I plan on running my business for the next few years, and with the profits, buy a house, pay off college loans, and start a business of my own, all with the skills and traits I learned through College Pro Painters.
